The Reading Games are officially over!
I’m surprised by how quickly this competition ended, I feel like we just started! Nonetheless, I had so much fun trying to beat Marissa during the summer.
So, here’s a list of the books I read during The Reading Games (in the order that I read them- all links lead to GR).
- Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
- Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne
- One Moment by Kristina McBride
- Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
- The Alchemyst by Michael Scott
- The Magician by Michael Scott
- The Sorceress by Michael Scott
- The Necromancer by Michael Scott
- The Warlock by Michael Scott
- The Enchantress by Michael Scott
- Gilt by Katherine Longshore
- I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga
- The Kill Order by James Dashner
- Pizza, Love, and Other Stuff that Made Me Famous by Kathryn Williams
- Hourglass by Myra McEntire
- Harbinger by Sara Wilson Etienne
- Speechless by Hannah Harrington
- The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
- Glitch by Heather Anastasiu
- 52 Reasons to Hate My Father by Jessica Brody
- Unwind by Neal Shuterman
- Unwholly by Neal Shusterman
- Every Day by David Leviathan
- My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris
- Crewel by Gennifer Albin
- The Power of Six by Pittacus Lore
- The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore
And that’s it for me! In total, I read 27 books, for a total of 10,157 pages! Which means my average book totaled 376 pages. That means I read decent sized books during the competition, which I’m really proud of! =)
Marissa, my competitor, read a total of 16 books during the competition, with a total of 4,699 pages. This means that her average book was about 293 pages.
This means……
I am the winner!!!!!!
I’m so excited that I won our little competition!
This definitely helped me read more than I usually do during the summer (due to my extreme laziness). As my prize, I’ll be picking Throne of Glass as my prize! Pay up Marissa! ![]()
Summer, is officially over for me now. I’ll be starting school Monday (my first day of high school- scary!!). I’m glad that I got to read as much as I did, even though it wasn’t as much as I had hoped. Hopefully, I’ll get lots of time to read during the school year!
How did YOU do during summer? Did you get lots of books read?
