While I wasn’t a huge fan of Matched and Crossed, definitely not like some people at least, I enjoyed both books. I think Reached has such awesome potential, though. I’ve heard a few rumors, and based on those, it seems like Reached is going to be awesome sauce. I’m hoping that Cassia has grown up a little, and that we get to see more Xander in this one. I’m also going to meet the author, at Austin Teen Book Festival, which is making me more excited for Reached. I’m crossing my fingers for this book!

Like you, I wasn't quite taken by the first two books in the series. Not that it wasn't good... it just lacked the oomph factor for me. And I'm not really too crazy about that cover. Out of the three, I'd say I like Matched's cover.

You have my thoughts on this book exactly. I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy this, but I'll read it anyway. And have fun meeting Ally! It's always awkward meeting authors whose stuff you didn't really like. Thanks for sharing!

I haven't read this series, simply because I haven't heard too many good things about it, but I do love the covers! I hope this one is better than the previous two and that it's a satisfying conclusion to this series! :D

I didn't really like Crossed all that much, but I will still read Reached since I have read the first two.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Matched far more than I thought I would, but haven't been interested in continuing with the series for some reason. Maybe one day I'll remember to get around to Crossed. ;) I hope Reached is a good read for you!
