It’s finally Friday the 28th, which means it’s Bloggiesta time! Bloggiesta is an event hosted by the fabulous people over at There’s A Book and It’s All About Books. It’s basically a weekend where you spend as much time as you can working on your blog. Everyone needs to do at least a few things, and if you’re like me, you put off those things until they turn into a lot of things. So Bloggiesta is a fantastic way to get caught up!
I did a goal post a little ago, but I’ll re-post my goal list here and cross things off as I get them done and add things as I see necessary. Also, I’m really excited about some of the mini challenges, they look really fun and helpful!
I’m also going to have some more time than anticipated to work on my blog, as my plans for Austin Teen Book Festival got canceled, because my parents can no longer take me. =’( As sad as I am about that, at least it’ll give me more time to work on my blog!!
Anyways, here’s my list o’ goals for this Bloggiesta (I have no idea how successful I will be in completing this!)
Goals
-
Catch up on ALL reviews. This is a lot to do! I always procrastinate on my reviews, so I probably have at least 7 I need to get written.
-
Schedule at least a month’s worth of WOW post, if not 2 months worth. -
Transfer all reviews to Goodreads. I haven’t done this in… basically forever, I think. Warning to my Goodreads friends: my feed is going to be really long!
-
Create a button for a new feature that I’m planning to do on my blog.
-
Schedule at least 3 posts for said feature.
-
Brainstorm more ideas for said feature.
-
Create a Review Archive page, and link all reviews to this page.
-
Attempt to create a rating system. I’m not sure how successful this will turn out to be, but I at least want to try!
-
Get and explore more plug-ins for Windows Live Writer to make writing reviews more efficient. -
Update my challenge page. This needs to be done badly.
-
Organize my calendar.
-
Make a cute signature.
-
Get the nerve to ask my parents permission to hold a giveaway. It’s long due, but for some reason, I’m scared my parents will say no to me holding a giveaway.
So, lots to do! Let’s hope I can get through this list!
Are YOU participating in Bloggiesta? What’s on your blogging to-do list?
Woah, that's a hefty list of goals, Aneeqah, so I wish you the best of luck in getting everything done! I need to make a Review Archive page myself and am planning some new features for 2013 as well, so I need to get started on those too. I also really want one of those adorable rating features, so we'll see how that works out...especially with all the half-stars I dish out! ;) Anyway, I can't wait to hear more about this and am SO excited for your new feature! :D Good Luck, Aneeqah!<3
ReplyDeleteWow -- amazing list -- I'm impressed. I'm going to be posting my progress tomorrow. I'm also sooo behind on putting stuff on Goodreads.
ReplyDeleteI hope your parents say yes!!!
Thanks so much for participating in my Bloggiesta challenge. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Please tweet me or come by and leave a link when you've go the post up!
Good luck ! I have tons to transfer to goodreads too
ReplyDeleteHey- if you get a chance shoot me an email about what Windows Live Writer is please.
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCY!
*luck* sorry
ReplyDeleteI just created a rating system for my reviews, so I had to add all the images to my reviews. Such a tedious task! I love using Windows Live Writer, it makes me more efficient, and, to be honest, I need all the efficiency I can get!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! :D
