Bloggiesta is basically an event in which you try to get to those pesky little bloggy things that you’ve been meaning to do, or tackle that project that you’ve been meaning to get started on, or even crank out those 10 reviews you’ve procrastinated on (that would be me….). This mini-bloggiesta takes place for only today and tomorrow, since it’s the first mini-bloggiesta. If you’re looking for some more information, check out the website.
But anyways, I’ve decided to participate, since I have a little time this weekend and want to utilize it. Unfortunately, my teachers also decided that weekends are for losers, apparently, and loaded on the homework pile. So, along with working on my blog today and tomorrow, I’ll be working on my forever long pile of homework as well.
Here’s a few things I want to get accomplished:
- Write 10 reviews. (Yes, I acknowledge the fact that I procrastinate far too much)
- Schedule 5 WoW posts.
- Schedule 3 The Teen Talks posts.
- Transfer reviews to Goodreads AND Amazon.
- Begin setting up a review archive page.
- Set up my challenge page, and update accordingly.
- Get more organized, using this post.
- Create an Edelweiss account.
- Participate in at least one mini-challenge
So, maybe that’s more than a few things? But hopefully I’ll be able to cross off half the things on this list.
Are you participating? What are the bloggy related things that you really need to get done?
I'm not participating per se, but I did decide a while back that I need to create a review archive, and keep up with reviews. I started scheduling WoW posts a few weeks ago because I kept forgetting about it lol, and I've found that it helps take just a little bit of the pressure of. I have so much work too! Some homework, but mainly coursework, which I am positively drowning in. Good luck with all the tasks you've set yourself, but I'm sure you'll be able to get through them just fine! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Aneeqah! I schedule my posts constantly, and then re-schedule them, which is a mess, but I also have so much more to do with my blog. ESPECIALLY updating my archive! ;) I hope you manage to get most of your goals done! :)
ReplyDeleteScheduling blog posts really saved my life! I was going a bit crazy before I started doing that and now I'm all set for February, and part of March. Plus, I use google calendar so it helps me with the visualization part too. I open a month and see if there are holes. :)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your plan, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
That's definitely an industrious list, but it always feels good to check off a few things, even if you don't get it all covered.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

I'm not officially participating but this is the weekend I'd decided I needed to schedule some posts...so basically, I'll be doing that. It will mostly be posts scheduled for this upcoming week, but i'm just crazy busy this semester with school back in session and a new job (so I technically now have 3 jobs) so yeah, lots of HW this weekend and hopefully some new posts. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck!! I hope you can cross a few things off of that list!!
ReplyDeleteI'm participating too and hoping to check some of the same things off my list, that you have on yours - especially scheduling and adding reviews to Amazon.

This is a great list Aneeqah! I should have probably included scheduling WoW posts too, but my review writing has to take priority. (boo!) Good luck with reaching your goals!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goals Aneeqah, I will definitely be rooting for your to get your reviews written out, Edelweiss is a great place to get loads of awesome arcs from. Sometimes it's quite hard, but once you get started I'm sure you won't be able to resist! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a big list you've got going on there! I hope you get tons done ... and your homework as well. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat goals :) I make sure I write my reviews right after (or within 24 hours) when I finish the book. Otherwise, I forget the main things I wanted to talk about and some of the details get fuzzy. I should probably take some time to sit down and soak up everything I've read in the book before spilling it all out in my reviews but sometimes I'm just too excited to wait. I hope you get your reviews done :) I wish I'd found this post on Friday so I could have participated lol :) Happy reading!
